insufficient memory or disk space

When i try to copy and paste information from the internet it says error,
insufficient memory or disk space. I've done this many times and never had a
problem until now. It is only a 2 page letter i'm trying to save. I have
plenty of hard drive available and i have 256 RAM but it says 36 RAM
available.

Occasionally in Word 2003 when I wish to change the Page Setup I get and
error message saying: Microsoft Office Word: There is insufficent memory or
disk space. Word cannot display the requested font.

What can I do about it?

I have a Word 2007 document that contains macros and is stored on a web
server. If a user clicks the link and then open the document (when prompted
to Open or Save), they cannot save it locally. They get an error message
that states, "The save failed due to out of memory or disk space." Then,
after clicking OK, you get an additional error that states, "Word has
insufficient memory. Do you want to save [document] as Rescued Document 1?"

However, if the user clicks the link and chooses the Save option, they have
no problem saving it locally. This is definitely not a space issue, as it
happens on many different computers. I have also verified that Office 2003
users do not have the same problem. My guess is that this has something to
do with the way that Office 2007 is handling Macros, but I can't for the life
of me figure out how to repair it.

Any ideas Office gurus?

My daughter has been working on a school project in Word 2003 for the last 2
days.
The doc. has graphics, internet pics and text. She has been saving it and
opening it with no problem until today. The file now comes up with "There is
not enough memory or disk space to display or print the picture.", what has
happened? Even the graphic text the she created in the doc. will not show.

I am getting "there is not enough memory or disk space to display or print
images" message while opening the Microsoft word & the images are not
displayed. The images were copied from the net & directly pasted into the
word document. The file size is 2.49MB. The same procedure was followed for
other documents are working fine.

Please let me know how to fix this.

Microsoft Office 2000

Related to my previous post about cross referencing inside a text box,
when I try to right clcik the text box and omit the border line, following
error message pops up:
There is insufficient memory or dis space. Close extra windowa and save your
work.
As far as I know I don't have memory or space problem and this error message
is very odd to me.
any comments on how can I access the format text box windows?

Trying to pull up general templates in Word. File... New... and clicks on
General Templates on the right side. The following error comes up: there is
not enough memory or disk space to complete the operation.

This just started happening. Have rebooted the computer but still can't get
to General Templates. Are there settings I can check for this? Is there a
minimum amount of memory that a computer needs? We currently have 512 MB of
RAM.

I've been working on a problem in word 2002 for a document that is no longer
displaying the screen shots. It has three screen shots in it. They could
view this just fine last week but now none of the screenshots appear in the
doc. When you click on the placeholders a message appears that says "There
is not enough memory or disk space to display or print the picture".

I searched the knowledge base and did not find anything specific to this. I
did go through the steps in Article 285857 - Pictures or other objects do not
appear in a Word 2003 or Word 2002 document. None of these methods resolved
the issue. Only 1 of the 3 screen shots lets me get to the format option. I
was able to change the text wrapping for the picture to In front of Text from
the In line with text, which worked.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem? Is there a known cause for
this and steps to avoid this happening in the future?

Hi,

I installed Microsoft Office 2007 recently(I upgraded from Office 2003 to
Office 2007). My Document is a template and it consists of some macros.
These macros are disabled by default. In order to update the macros, i need
to select the "Enable this content" from Microsoft Office Security Options.

Now if i update the Macro and save the document, Microsoft Word gives the
following error.
"The save failed due to out of memory or disk
space.(C:...DesktopMyDoc.doc". I'm getting this error when i am trying to
update the macros.
If i change the other part of the document, it is saving successfully.

If i try to update the same document in another machine where Microsoft Word
2003 is installed, it is getting updated successfully. I could not really
understand what the problem is. Please help me in resolving this issue.

Thanks,

i am getting the error 'there is not enough memory or disk space to run word'
and other MS Office XP programs. my system has 1 GB of RAM and 54 GB of disk
space. my OS is licensed windows XP .

When I try to save in Word 07, it says it can't save because it's out of
memory or disk space. There is plenty of space on my hard drive, and I even
tried saving on my USB and I get the same message.

I saved a 3.4mb rtf file to my server at work last Friday afternoon and when
I attempted to open it today I received an error message. The message
stated, "There is not enough memory or disk space to complete the operation."

I would appreciate any help or advice to be able to save the text and
comments from this document.

I combined 12 documents in word 2000 that amount to 500 pages. The documents
were originally in microsoft works format. So works 2000 has some converting
to do. The message is issued when I try to save this document.

I have a Celeron processor with 250 mb memory and a 40 gig drive of which 20
gig available.

I increased the the page file from 384 to 500 with a maxinum of 1000 and
still it runs out of memory and disk space !!!

It took a while to put this together. Its not something permenent. Need it
to supply bookmarks via a program I wrote. When thats done I can convert to
acrobat pdf.

I don't want to lose what I put together. Any suggestions ?

tried paste special but nothing works. Help!!!! Thanks to all.
